What is Rockring?
Rockring is a Lebanese events management organization based in Lebanon.
Rockring has been organizing rock/metal events back from 2003.
Rockring is behind events such as Back to the Roots, Global Battle of the Bands (the official national directorate), Fusion series events,
Tribuate Hall series events, and several other smaller pub events.
Rockring has booked several bands in concerts in Jordan in the last 2 years, namely: Roswell, Farewell, BLooD InK, and Silent Anthem.
Rockring has also brought the all-star (Sepultura, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament, Judas Priest, Iced Earth) metal band HAIL! to Lebanon, the first ever American metal band to play in Lebanon.

Rockring's aims and goals include, and are not limited, to the following:
- Organize highest quality events.
- On the watch to expose talented bands and promote them.
- Book talented bands.
- Provide new/upcoming bands with the necessary assistance for them to reach their highest potential & levels of professionalism.
- Get international artists to Lebanon.
With an increasing number of talented, yet neglected, rock & metal bands, Rockring aims to find & promote these talents and provide an equal and fair opportunity for new bands, as well as old, to perform.
Local band guidelines to play in Rockring events:
Below is a basic set of basic guidelines which gives the chance for ANY local band to play in one of Rockring's concerts.
To make things clear, bands do not join Rockring - this seems to be a common misconception;
ANY band can play in Rockring events and are not bound to any conditions or contract.
All what is required is for Rockring to know about the band (http://bands.rockringlb.com); we will check out the bands and work hand in hand to promote the talented bands and push the music scene forward.
Our guidelines for bands are based on the fact that a band should be active and hard-working.
We support the bands and aim to help and push them further, but the band must work hard to deserve it.
It is not fair for non-serious bands to play in a concert when many others are working hard to get somewhere.
As for what is required for a band to get into a concert:
- band must show talent (ie, they are not looking for showing off and fame, but actually doing something they love and be good at it)
- band must practice well to be coherent & coordinated
- band must show good potential (composing good originals is the most important point here, except for pure cover bands)
- band must be active and working, and progressing
- band members must know how to use their instruments well, and fix up their effects properly (a musician should master his tools)
Some additional notes:

any band showing potential is followed up to see its progress...relevant tips are given to help the band improve till it gets to a certain required level
- new bands get the chance to play in smaller events before getting to the bigger events - this gives them the experience and starts building a fanbase before they play in bigger productions & for more people
- the band must be good spirited and supportive of the music scene
- band must be patient with us (alot of bands around but limited events...so not everyone can go at once)
